Election Countdown: 40 days to go. On Blind, an anonymous professional network, with 3.6M verified users, 53% of professionals believe Biden is the presidential candidate that will benefit their personal finances most.
The platform ran a survey from 9/16- 9/24 and had 6,886 responses. The survey asked the following questions:

- 47% of surveyed professionals believe Trump is the presidential candidate that will benefit their personal finances most.

- 10% of surveyed professionals responded “ I am an eligible voter and I am voting for Trump”
- 28% of surveyed professionals responded “ I am not an eligible voter, but I would vote for Trump”

A user at Credit Suisse asked the platform “Is Biden really that bad? Yes I get that taxes are going to increase but is electing Biden really that bad for the economy? I’m just thinking in terms of the non-economic reform he’s going to bring and how that would outweigh other effects”

A user at Twitter asked the platform, “Who will you vote for and why? I don’t like Trump but will still vote for him. Why? Cause I value my net worth / TC (based on stock appreciation) more than social justice issues. It’s generally believed Biden will be much worse for the market than Trump.”

According to CNBC, presidential candidate Joe Biden holds a durable lead over President Trump in national polling averages ahead of their first debate, and Blind’s survey supports this.
Other recent polls:
- Biden holds a lead of more than 8 points, according to the NBC News polling average
- The RealClearPolitics general election polling average on Thursday morning showed Biden with a 7-point lead over Trump, where it has mostly hovered since early August.
- FiveThirtyEight’s national polling tracker gave Biden a 7.4-point advantage.
