67% Of Professionals Think Biden Won Last Night’s Debate

Last night, President Trump and former VP Joe Biden squared off in the first presidential debate. On Blind, an anonymous professional network, with 3.6M verified users, a Seagate user ran a poll asking, “Biden vs. Trump live poll. Who is winning?”

The poll had 13,008 responses and robust dialogue with 2,238 professionals commenting on their own experiences, here are some key learnings: 

• 67% of professionals believed VP Joe Biden was winning the debate.

• • • 80% of Capital One professionals believed VP Joe Biden was winning the debate.

• • • 65% of Facebook professionals believed VP Joe Biden was winning the debate.

• • • 80% of Capital One professionals believed VP Joe Biden was winning the debate.

• • • 83% of EY professionals believed VP Joe Biden was winning the debate.

• • • 85% of Goldman Sachs professionals believed VP Joe Biden was winning the debate.

• • • 65% of Google professionals believed VP Joe Biden was winning the debate.

A user at Facebook responded to the poll asking, “How many of you are voting Trump just because Biden is raising taxes?” 

A user at Microsoft “A user at Microsoft “Joe is doing a lot of carefully rehearsed talking points. Trump improvises a lot and is doing it quite well. And he knows his facts. Had Trump not been rude and abrasive towards Joe, he’d been a clear win here.”

President Trump repeatedly interrupted Joe Biden and told lies — about Trump’s own tax payments, Biden’s health care plan, the environment and voting by mail. As a result, last night’s debate failed to show the substantive differences between the candidates.
