Rumored Layoffs for the Remainder of Q3 2026

According to posts and Blind’s layoff tracker, there are going to be a few heavy hitting layoffs in the coming months.

Meta

It seems Meta is always on a list where layoffs are concerned. According to rumors on Blind, up to 2,500 employees will be impacted by layoffs before the end of July. Speculated locations include California and Washington.

Credit Karma & Intuit

These two financial companies are rumored to be laying off a few hundred employees at the end of July, targeting California employees.

Netflix

According to posts, Netflix is set to layoff 3,000 employees on August 4. The company has stayed quiet about layoffs recently and if this is true, assume it will be a big hit in the media.

Pfizer

Pfizer’s New York office is “confirmed” on the layoff list where approximately 2,000 employees will be impacted on August 9.

Salesforce

While Salesforce conducted layoffs already this quarter, employees are speculating another round to occur mid-August.

Tesla

August 19 is the date Tesla employees are not looking forward to, as 1,000 employees are suspected to be laid off from the company.

PayPal

Also unconfirmed but rumored are layoffs at PayPal on August 24, with a whopping 4,600 employees globally expecting an unwelcome message in their inbox.

Expedia

The data is unknown but suspected to be in August. Expedia employees are hearing whispers of over 1,500 employees losing their jobs globally.
