Snowflake Employee Is A Millionaire Thanks to Blind

Shares of Snowflake, a cloud data warehousing firm that has the backing of Salesforce (CRM) and Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway (BRKB), more than doubled on their first day of trading in the biggest software IPO ever.

On Blind, an anonymous professional network, with 3.6M verified users, a Snowflake shared an awesome Blind story.

“A while ago, Snowflake made me an offer with “x” RSUs for a (removing job title) role and I didn’t know what to make of it. I posted on blind for feedback and suddenly a stranger messaged me to discuss their recent offer from Snowflake. She/he was kind enough to share their offer details and that they had been offered 2.5x RSUs.

On a whim, I went back to the hiring manager and asked him for 2.5x RSUs. To my surprise, the HM agreed and I took the job!

So thank you stranger for sending that DM and changing my life. To be specific, I got a million reasons to thank you .
