What we know: over 11,000 employees received emails on Tuesday, March 31, that they would no longer be employees at Oracle.

  • Ex-employees reported April 10, April 30, and June 1 termination dates
  • This is the email that was sent out  
  • India, Canada, and U.S. employees were impacted
  • Severance is four weeks plus one week per year of service

We also know that all levels of employees were impacted. This includes SVPs, managers and directors.

Why?

The cause of the layoffs?
